Midnight openings still are big business for GAME so to say that it is the end of boxed products is very immature. Good interview.

This is a massive dollar deal. Activision wouldn't have gone into it with just a vague promise from Bungie, they have been SHOWN something concrete about this new IP. This means, perhaps, initial concept art, world setting, characters and more. Maybe we might get a teaser at E3...
Look. I HAVEN'T paid MGS Peace Walker so I can't comment on its quality. Likewise Kotaku haven't reviewed it yet, so they can't comment on it's quality.
What I do know is that MGS is not some no-name crappy series, it is one of videogames biggest franchises, great reviews, great sales, and this one is directed by the respected Kojima himself.
So whilst I haven't played it, it wouldn't surprise me to see that many websites give MGS-PW positives reviews. This whole r...
Brian Ashcraft's post wasn't a great piece of sleuthing journalism, it was a rant against a competitor.
Famitsu have been known to love the MGS franchise, they gave the last game, Metal Gear Solid 4, a perfect 10.
Just because Famitsu and the Metal Gear game were cross-promoting it doesn't mean the perfect score was a fix. Ashcraft added 1 & 1 and came up with 3.
A qualified journalist would have contacted the parties for their response prior to publ...
I'm happy that content producers like T.D. can now choose to prevent N4G from embedding their videos. It's not that I don't love N4G, it's just that if websites & blogs go to the trouble of creating content, they should at least be rewarded with the page hits.
Torrence Davis you are one fat man. Lose some weight and you will get more mileage out of your body. Do it for the people that love you. Do it for your family.
On Gametrailer's BonusRound with Jaffe & N'Gai Croal, Croal said he was 'moved' by the Modern Warfare 2 Terrorist scene. Jaffe said that was bullshit! He found it interesting but it didn't 'move' him to tears or anything.
Likewise about the loss of paper manuals- they can easily be recycled, but I think Ubisoft are abandoning them to save money.
Personally I like to hold a manual in my hand so I DONT have to pause and go into a menu screen to search for controls...
I've seen good screenshots, and not so good, but I can't comment on Alan Wake's actual quality until I judge for myself until my pre-order comes through.
But don't you think it feels like the developers are fighting a PR war?
Unless priorly agreed in the movie contract - if the publishers want Lindsay Lohan on the cover, they have to pay her.
Turn 10 used this trick. They knew Gran Turismo was the biggest and best car series ever. They wanted the public to perceive their incoming Forza 3 game as being in the same league as GT, so they utilised a skilful PR campaign of comparing Forza more favourably to GT, and sometimes trashing GT in forums (NeoGaf). The effect was that (some) Xbox owners felt this new Forza game was a competitor of equal footing.
I know business is business, but I don't think developers should trash...

I've loved the mood of the screenshots, and the music is evocative. Maybe they should try getting Microsoft or Sony to fund development as a dlc only title. Heavy Rain has demonstrated that there can be a market for something different IF it delivers.
;) Only having a laugh people!
A major company like EA needs to keep churning in the profit.
Microsoft paid money to keep Mass Effect an exclusive/timed exclusive.
Mass Effect has already sold 2 million and is set to total at least 4 million. If Mass Effect 2 was available on PlayStation 3 sales would nearly double. That's between $40-70 million dollars EA is missing out on from PS3 sales. If the Microsoft deal paid less than that (probably $10 million) then EA HAS MADE A TERRIBLE BUSINESS DECISION.

What a irresponsible and fanboy based article from an established newspaper.
To say it is a myth and then spread the rumour does not cover them legaly. Nor do they mention the fact that such a 'kill switch' is rumoured to exist for all manufacturers and not just one. And if they are talking about consoles that break down but don't adequately discuss the RROD difficulties of the 360, then the entire article is basically a disguised fanboy rant.
Should I get the Xbox 360 edition of Mass Effect 2 or should I wait until Fall for the PS3 Blu-ray compilation?
Will the PS3 Blu-ray of Mass Effect 1&2 come with any bonus content that has not been available before?
:)
Gran Turismo is regarded as more than a game, it is a driving simulator. I know a few petrol-heads who love cars, and not games, but are going to buy a PS3 to play this.
Also, in the UK the car mags, and car tv programmes like Top Gear and Fifth Gear go crazy for it.
GT serves to promote all the included car brands. So if P*****... who? don't have their cars on show, because they have been paid a lot for exclusivity by a different party, they are actually missing out on th...
Not being funny but that girl is a fat head with a cheap hair dye job. She looks like she doesn't relate well to other females so she hangs around sex-starved geeks who give her a lot of attention because she is the only girl they know, and she gets boosted by it and feels appreciated. Poor mare.
I have a friend at SCEE based who is based on the seventh floor. He said that over recent weeks there has been a flurry of activity at the SCEE offices. A lot of high ranking Japanese staff visting Reeves - Reeves always looking glum. Apparantly Kaz Hirai was very disappointed in the lacklustre performance of the PlayStation in Europe which he attributed to Reeves hands off management style.
Kaz Hirai directly blames Reeves for many of the delays and problems with products for ...
There are probably non-disclosure agreements that stop him from making a full reveal. Big announcements are normally saved for E3. As a fan of Dragon Age his answer is EXCELLENT NEWS! I can't wait to play more stories.
